John Mayer happy to let his guitar do the talking
Musician John Mayer has been praised for his excellent performance with the electric guitar in a review of one of his recent gigs.
In a two-hour performance in London, Mayer performed tracks from his new album Battle Studies in a set list that also included a cover of Jackson Five's I Want You Back.
Mayer himself seemed to enjoy the performance, thanking the crowd for their reaction after performing acoustic guitar track Why Georgia.
"This is why we got on an aeroplane," he said on behalf of his band.
He said at the time that he wanted to recreate his favourite Fender Stratocaster in the designs of the new instrument.Posted on 19 Jan 2010 16:50 to category : Instruments News
