Johnny A wants his electric guitars back
Johnny A as he is known, a renowned electric guitar player, returned home from his three-week tour to find that three of his favourite electric guitars had been stolen, reported the Eagle-Tribune.
He said: "I want to make it difficult for anybody to fence these. It's me being proactive. ... Someone knows someone who did it, someone's going to talk, it will eventually get back to the people who took them."
Johnny A, who has played with music luminaries such as Les Paul, BB King and Jeff Beck, as well as working as musical director for Peter Wolf, told the news provider that two of the stolen guitars are unique.
The star is using his fame and the world wide web to spread the message about his guitars.
His first solo album Sometime Tuesday Morning was released in 1999.
