Jon Bon Jovi lifts lid on relationship with Sambora
Jon Bon Jovi has revealed that his bond with electric guitar player Richie Sambora remains strong.
The two musicians have worked together in Bon Jovi for more than a quarter of a century, notching up hits such as Livin' on a Prayer, It's My Life and Keep the Faith.
Speaking to Fox News, the vocalist said he shares a deep bond with Sambora that can never be broken.
He stated that unlike other songwriting duos such as Lennon and McCartney, his songs with Sambora are genuine collaborations every time.
"We both play the chords, figure out the words and come up with titles," he commented.
Bon Jovi added that he has lots of favourites out of the songs he has written, but named Livin' on a Prayer as one that would be "high on my list".
The 1987 track, which was released on their Slippery When Wet album, is now widely regarded as the band's signature song.Posted on 22 Nov 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
