Kaiser Chiefs are currently on UK tour, including several sell out shows, before jetting round the world to Japan, North and South America and Australasia. Sennheiser equipment is forming the backbone of the live sound at all shows.

Lead Singer, Ricky Wilson, will be using a new mic this tour - the Sennheiser SKM 935. As monitor engineer Ilias Andrianatos explained "we wanted a vocal mic with a flat frequency response and consistent on/off axis response that cuts through the stage sound and has a good feedback rejection." He said that a range of Sennheiser microphones were ideal for the strains of the tour: "the SKM 935, e 935 and the e845 that previous front of house engineers' used for Ricky, all fulfill those requirements."

As well as Ricky's vocal mics, the Kaiser Chiefs will be using a wide range of Sennheiser instrument mics, in-ear monitors and wireless instrument systems.

Sennheiser have been chosen not just for their sound, but also the support that they give, as Production Manager Robin Scott highlighted - "Especially useful has been the support that we have received on the rare occasions that any technical support was required, both in the UK and internationally."

Kaiser Chiefs are touring in support of their latest release Off With Their Heads.
