Kanye West shows vulnerable side as he sheds a tear in Finland
Kanye West is known for his flamboyant, diva-like persona, but he revealed a more personal, human and vulnerable side as he brought to an end the Flow Festival in Finland.
West, who is currently riding high in the charts with Jay Z on their collaborative new album The Throne, was clearly overcome with emotion as he performed Runaway in its ten-minute entirety.
The track is known for its candid honesty about the shortcomings of the male species, and is the title of his quasi-art house movie musical, which marked his first foray into directing.
It was a typically electrifying performance from the hit-producing rap sensation, which, despite of the fact he was 45-minutes late, lasted a mammoth two-hours much to the crowd's delight.
During his epic performance, which saw firework and pyrotechnics used to lavish effect, he told the audience: "You will never see one man come to the stage with this many hits. It's all about rap music, we don't five a f**k about the press.
"One thing to remember: there is no me without you."
West recently joined funk legend Prince on stage for a jam in Sweden.
