Kate Nash praises Bernard Butler influence on new record
Solo artist Kate Nash has praised the influence of Suede guitar player Bernard Butler on her new album.
Butler was the producer on the record and Nash told Wales Online that he made her feel instantly at ease when she met him for the first time.
"As soon as I played him the demos I think he just got it and understood what I wanted to do," she said of the electric guitar player.
She added that he has a fantastic knowledge about the girl groups that had a real influence on her new album, which is entitled My Best Friend is You.
Nash explained that acts like The Ronettes, The Shirelles and The Crystals were all in her mind when she came to write her new set of songs.
It was recently confirmed that Nash will be appearing at this year's T In The Park Festival, which is also set to feature performances from the likes of Kasabian and Muse.Posted on 15 Apr 2010 17:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
