Keith Richards to feature on new Sheryl Crow album
Electric guitar legend Keith Richards is going to appear on the new Sheryl Crow album.
The Rolling Stones star performed on one of the tracks on her forthcoming 100 Miles From Memphis album, playing guitar on Eye to Eye, a song said to have a "reggae-flavoured" feel.
Speaking to Billboard magazine, Crow revealed that Justin Timberlake also lent his talent to the album, recording backing vocals for a cover of Terence Trent D'Arby song Sign Your Name.
Crow, who was a backing singer for Michael Jackson in the 1980s, said the final song on the record is a cover of the Jackson 5's I Want You Back, which the acoustic guitar player explained is a homage to the late singer.
"The guy gave me my first job in the business and was incredibly generous with his talent with me," she explained.
Crow is about to embark on a tour of the US which is to get underway on June 11th 2010 and run until October 1st.Posted on 9 Jun 2010 20:00 to category : Music News
