Kelly Jones records unofficial Wales' football anthem for Gary Speed
Jones, a native Welshman like Speed - who tragically took his own life last month - has reworked Andy William's classic 1968 hit I Can't Take My Eyes Off You.
It's a poignant move as the song has became something of a Welsh footballing anthem after it was used by BBC Wales during the 1994 World Cup qualifiers.
"It is a great honour. I hope the song is a fitting tribute to a great man. He was a very nice man, a good-looking fella," Jones told the BBC.
"I was with my two daughters at the Millennium Stadium after the England v Wales international. We were waiting at the lift and Gary ended his phone conversation and shook my hand. We had a chat about the game and shared the lift to the ground floor."
It all came about after Jones sang an acoustic version of the song on a tribute show to Speed.
The public mourning and shock for the sudden death of Speed has been unprecedented, revealing how admired Speed was as a footballer among all football fans.
