Keyboard legend Jerry Lee Lewis still going strong at 75
Jerry Lee Lewis showed he can still put on a good performance at the age of 75 at a recent show in Las Vegas.
The singer, who is known for his slick keyboard and piano skills, took to the stage at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekender festival, over 50 years after he first launched his career with rock n roll hits such a Great Balls of Fire.
However, while Lewis still has his keyboard skills, he has left behind the wild stage routines which earned him the nickname The Killer, reports the Daily Mail, opting instead to let his playing to do the talking.
Other acts hitting the stage with their musical instruments at the Rockabilly Weekender included The Blasters, The Dynotones, The Lustre Kings and Hillbilly Hellcats.
The festival aims to be the biggest rockabilly party in the world and incorporates a car show and a fashion show as well as the musical performances.
Jerry Lee Lewis started out as a rock n roll singer in the 1950s but later made the transition to country music.
His hits include All Night Long and My Baby Don't Love No One But Me.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
