Killers bassist produces Howling Bells album
He has been producing the group's third album as they worked their follow-up to Radio Wars, which was released back in 2009, reports NME.
Stoermer and Howling Bells headed to Las Vegas for the making of the new LP, which took place in The Killers' own Battle Born studio.
According to the band, the setting of the recording sessions, combined with the presence of the bass guitar player, helped them to "channel some desert spirit - casinos and neon signs aside, it's a special place".
It is hoped that the new album will be ready for release before the end of 2011.
Writing on their MySpace blog last month, Howling Bells promised their fans have a "truthful and raw" record to look forward to and said they have produced "music from the heart".
The group originally hail from Sydney in Australia but moved to London in 2006 for the recording of their debut album, which was done with the help of producer Ken Nelson, who has previously worked with Coldplay, Badly Drawn Boy and Gomez.
