Kings of Leon cancel entire US tour

The Kings of Leon have put an end to their US tour following some erratic performances as of late.

The Kings of Leon have jacked in their entire US tour after the frontman went into a meltdown at a gig in Dallas at the weekend.

Following that debacle, where Caleb Followill stormed off stage, rumours immediately began to circulate that there was internal discontent with the massive Tennessee rockers.

That fire was given further fuel when the bass guitar player Jared Followill tweeted: "I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren't stupid. I can't lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade."

However, following the announcement that the band were cancelling their US tour, their publicist was quick to respond to concerns that one of the biggest bands in the world was about to break up in spectacular style.

The publicist said: "We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are cancelling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion."

"The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break."

Nathan Followill, the band's drummer, was also quick to reassure fans that this was not the end.

He tweeted: "Bummed about the tour not happening. So sorry for all the fans. We just need some rest. Thanks for understanding. We are not breaking up!"
