Kings of Leon laugh off rumours they've fired Caleb
The Kings of Leon have laughed off reports that they've sacked frontman Caleb Followill following the star's recent erratic behaviour that led to the band cancelling their US tour.
Star Magazine has reported that the other bandmates had come to resent Caleb's selfish "diva-like" behaviour, which they alleged led to him being late for rehearsals and disregarding band meetings.
Nathan Followill, who plays drums for the band, took to Twitter to put an end to the ridiculous rumours that have been circulating around the Tennessee rockers over the last few weeks.
He wrote: "Breaking news: Kings of Leon has kicked Caleb out and Jared and Matt will be taking over lead vocals. Where do people come up with this? Hilarious."
His bandmate Jared, joined in the debate, wisecracking: " So bummed that the story I leaked about me being the new singer didn't stick. You and I both know I have a phenomenal voice."
Caleb meanwhile has kept his silence about the whole affair. His last post on Twitter was as far back as the beginning of June, which saw him respond to a tweet from the reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
