Kiss to record new album
Veteran electric guitar rock band Kiss are set to make another album that will be released later in the year.
It will be the follow-up to their 2009 effort Sonic Boom and in an interview with BackstageAxxess.com, guitarist Tommy Thayer said the group will be heading into the studio within the next month or two.
"We are starting to work on writing some songs, approach it just like we did with Sonic Boom and keep it all in the band in terms of the writing," he added.
The album will be produced by Paul Stanley, the second record in a row where this will happen, as he combines this role with also providing vocals for the tracks.
Thayer told the news provider the record is "gonna kick some butt" and he is really looking forward to getting into the studio again.
Kiss are famous for their extravagant outfits and performances while on stage, which have gathered them a legion of fans since they started out in the 1970s.
So far in their carer, they have released 19 albums and have gone through numerous personnel changes.
