The Korg Kronos is one of the most powerful workstations available today. Comprising of 9 unique sound engines, each detail different keys qualities to help provide versatile, powerful and authentic sounds.

The CX-3 Tonewheel organ, one of the 9 engines built into the Kronos, recreates an instantly recognisable vintage tonewheel organ sound with a few added extras.

This particular sound has been closely modelled on the Korg CX-3 combo organ, which made its debut in 1980. To emulate this much-loved classic sound in the Kronos, proprietary Korg technology has been used to provide the feel and sound of the CX-3's vacuum tube amp and modulation effects.

The Kronos' joystick in the x-axis can also help control the speed of the rotary speaker effect. You also have the ability to chosen from seven types of rotary speaker sounds. Furthermore, Korg had engineered other nuances such as the instability, fold-back and leakage of tonewheels to provide further authenticity to this particular sound engine.

The Kronos, which is also available in 61- and 73-key versions, features other premium sounds such as: acoustic pianos, electric pianos, high definition synthesizers, MS20 emulation and many more.
