Kylie: New album out in 2013
However, following on from her appearance at this week's Brit Awards, where she looked sensational in a shiny blue dress, the singer has revealed that she has been working on new music.
She will spend most of the year busy making a new record which she told Metro will hopefully be released in 2013.
Kylie said that the album would, true to style, be very different to anything she has ever done before. Like Madonna she is always interested in exploring new avenues of creativity.
This year also sees her release a Greatest Hits album, which marks 25 years in the music business. Dubbed K25, it marks her career from the release of Locomotion to the present day.
"There are a few things coming up,' she told the newspaper.”Mardi Gras will be such a great opportunity to thank that community for their support for so many years."
