La Roux announce comeback shows
The band also confirmed they will be playing at Coachella in the US and stated that the shows on English soil will be warm-ups for the major event across the pond and will be relatively low-key.
La Roux, which consists of vocalist Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, will kick off their jaunt across the UK at Brighton's Concorde 2 on March 28th before moving onto The Fleece in Bristol on April 2nd and finishing Coventry's Kasbah on April 5th.
The duo sprang onto the scene in 2009 with their self-titled debut album containing hits such as Bulletproof and In For The Kill, receiving warm praise from many media outlets; NME gave the record a nine out of ten.
Their comeback has sparked rumours that a new album could be released later in 2013.
Speaking to NME about the long wait for a second record, Jackson said: "I realised the album I wanted to make would require me being a much better musician than I was. There's been a lot of learning and it's been fun and I didn't want it to stop, basically."
