Lady Gaga reveals Iron Maiden inspiration
Lady Gaga has revealed that the English heavy metal rockers Iron Maiden have changed her life.
The glitzy star told Rolling Stone magazine that watching the band play only last month at a concert in Florida was "awesome".
It comes as a surprise to millions of fans given that Iron Maiden are known for their loud electric guitar inspired riffs and distortions whereas Lady Gaga is known as being a pop star who produces typical pop music.
Speaking to the magazine she said that everyone at the gig was dancing and singing and "so into it".
She said: "I mean, it was like absolute no judgment, no prejudice, just freedom and love for music. It doesn't matter who you are; you don't need to know anything about music to love it. Everybody was hugging me, high-fiving, fist pumps in the air."
The Fame Monster singer-songwriter and piano player, is also seeking to emulate the success of Iron Maiden's special relationship they have with their fans who "live, breath and die" for the band.
Gaga recently announced that Rocky IV has inspired her to make music to remind the music industry that it is not a machine.
