Lady Gaga to appear in The Simpsons
Lady Gaga is to bring her flamboyant looks and eccentric personality to the wacky world of cartoons with an appearance in the long-running TV show The Simpsons.
The singer-songwriter will feature in an episode called Lisa Goes Gaga.
In the episode, the Fame Monster star will make a detour to Springfield to help boost the esteem of its residents as well helping perk up Lisa through the power of music and dance.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the usually confident Gaga admitted that she was full of nerves.
"I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humour," she said.
She added that this was one of the "coolest" things she had ever done in her entire life, something which her dad was going to be especially proud of.
Gaga, who recently admitted that she was "married to loneliness", said: "My dad’s probably going to do 80 back flips when the episode comes out."
