Lana Del Ray still getting used to fame
Del Rey, who rocketed to the top of the charts with her viral smash hit Video Games, which first appeared on YouTube, told V magazine that when she turns up at airports across the world she is flattered by the huge numbers of fans who greet her.
"There are people outside the venue at sound check that want to chat and take a photo," she said.
"Someone showed me their ticket stub and asked me to sign it. You know how much it costs to come and see a show? These people really want to see me."
With fame have come other opportunities for Del Rey, whose debut studio album Born to Die comes out later this month.
She has been snapped up by Next Model Management as they think she has an interesting look and a great fashion sense.
Prime minister David Cameron recently revealed he was a fan of the US star.
