Led Zep music 'will not be used on video games'
Electric guitar legend Jimmy Page has insisted that Led Zeppelin's music will never be used in a computer game.
But Page is against the idea of licensing Led Zeppelin material in this way and has instead recommended that would-be musicians purchase a real guitar.
"You'll see if you've got a passion to want to play the instrument and that is a good initiation," he commented.
Page added that one of the defining moments of his musical education came when he purchased a guitar that was "relatively user-friendly, but not super-duper easy".
He said playing this instrument helped him to develop his electric guitar skills significantly.
The comments come shortly after Page admitted that his collection of electric guitars has grown to a considerable size over the years.Posted on 22 Jul 2009 16:00 to category : Instruments News
