Lenny Kravitz wants to play drums with Jack White
Lenny Kravitz has revealed he would like to swap his electric guitar for a drum kit and play with Jack White.
The 45-year-old musician, who has notched up hits including Fly Away and Are You Gonna Go My Way, described The White Stripes frontman as "very good".
Speaking to Rolling Stone, he said he loves their records and would be interested in working with White, who plays electric guitar in the two-piece band.
However, Kravitz stated that if this opportunity were to arise, he would like to try something different and get behind the drum kit.
"One thing I haven't done that I want to do is be the drummer in a band," he commented.
Alternatively, he suggested that he could perhaps play bass guitar if he gets the chance to collaborate with "other great musicians".
Kravitz released his most recent album - Time for a Love Revolution - last year and is currently touring in support of the record.Posted on 24 Oct 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
