Liam Gallagher: New Beady Eye record booted door off the hinges

The front man claims that the upcoming record is the LP Oasis should have made after Morning Glory.

Beady Eye front man Liam Gallagher has claimed the upcoming record from the group is the album that Oasis should have made after (What's The Story) Morning Glory.

Speaking in the latest issue of NME, Gallagher stated that he believes that the band have gone one step beyond and they have "booted the door off the hinges and steamed right in there".

The front man told the magazine about the difference between Oasis post-Morning Glory and where Beady Eye are at the moment and noted the contrasting approaches to a new record.

Gallagher explained to the magazine: "I'm not saying it's better than Be Here Now or it's going to be this or that - I love Be Here Now, I won't have a bad word said about it but when you're selling 20 million records, you've got people there going, 'Oh let's just chuck out that formula again'. So I'm a bit disappointed we [Oasis] didn't ever do it."

The front man recently explained to The Sun that Beady Eye have been "definitely experimenting" on the new record and described it as "majestic", "imperial", "out there" and "heavy".
