Liam Gallagher: Rock and roll for life
The Beady Eye frontman loves nothing better than getting up on stage and belting out a hit tune and has been enjoying playing local gigs again.
"It's been great doing all these little shows, going back to square one," he told Live magazine.
"It's good to see the crowd and hear them. Long may that continue. Big gigs are soulless masses of people – I'm glad I've done them, but I don't miss them."
Having been so successful with Oasis and performed in sold out arenas, Liam explained that it didn't matter if he didn't have the same experience with his current band – he has nothing left to prove.
In the revealing interview the pugnacious singer even said that as much as he loves Beady Eye, he'd still rather be in Oasis, indicating that leaving the Britpop band was one of the hardest decisions he has ever had to make.
Biffy Clyro's bass guitar player James Johnston said recently that he wished he had some of Liam's outspoken characteristics.
