Libertines announce warm-up gig ahead of Reading and Leeds
Electric guitar band The Libertines are to play a special warm-up gig before they play Reading and Leeds at the end of this month.
The indie group have reformed to play at the festivals and will get ready for the shows with a gig at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town, London on August 25th 2010.
Fans looking for tickets to the intimate show have to register their interest on The Libertines' official website by 18:00 BST this Friday (August 13th).
A ballot will then be held, with the winners informed at the start of the following week.
Those who are selected can buy two tickets for the gig.
The electric guitar band are to play Leeds Festival on August 27th and Reading Festival the following night.
Other acts appearing at the dual-site event this year include Arcade Fire, Queens of the Stone Age, The Gaslight Anthem and The Cribs.
