Lil' Wayne gets political

He might have fired up a media frenzy over his interesting choice of a shiny, tight, low-hanging leopard print trousers at the MTV Video Music Awards recently, but it appears that Lil' Wayne has other things on his mind than just fashion. The controversial rapper, who served eight months behind bars in New York for illegally possessing a loaded gun, is looking to get political as the race for the presidential elections starts to ferment. Weezy has joined in on the debate about the Republican fringe Tea Party movement, which has found "its voice" in the vacuum left after George Bush's exodus from the White House and the election of a Democratic president. Speaking to Vibe, he said: "You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it. I feel like as a people the most that we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask 'Am I the person they're talking about or am I not?' "You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us." He added rather controversially that right-leaning politicians who attacked Barack Obama did so more because of his race than his actual policies. "I don't think I have to say that for everybody to know that," he said. Save Money Now And Buy Online Today ADNFCR-2133-ID-800728268-ADNFCR
