M.I.A. asks fans to help come up with new album title

M.I.A's new record features a wide variety of musical instruments and styles, her producer has said.
Great deals on musical instruments

British musician M.I.A. has asked her fans to help her name her new record.

She revealed the tracklisting for the forthcoming album on her Twitter feed, before calling on her followers on the social networking site to come up with a suitable title for the record.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Rusko, her producer on the album, praised her creativity in the studio.

The producer played guitar and piano on the record, and said that fans of M.I.A. can look forward to a very varied piece of work.

"Every track is something you don't realise, so there's something that just sounds way crazy … but then the next track is a love song with a piano and perfect singing," he said.

M.I.A. is set to play at the Underage Festival later this year, with other acts on the bill for the London event including Ellie Goulding, Tinchy Stryder and Lightspeed Champion.

Only people aged between 14 and 18 years old are allowed into the festival.
