Madonna will record LP after movie
Madonna "can't wait" to get back in the studio and start work on her next album.
The 52-year-old singer - who has not released an LP since 2008's 'Hard Candy' - will begin laying down new tracks as soon as she has finished directing her latest film 'W.E.'.
Her manager Guy Oseary wrote on twitter: "the update is that Madonna cant wait to get into the recording studio ... This will happen as soon as she finishes the movie she directed... (sic)"
He also shot down rumours she is going to be making an appearance at the Grammy Awards this weekend or that a live DVD release is in the pipeline.
In another post, he added: "madonna will not be at grammys. I have no idea where the rumor of a live dvd box set is coming from. Im not against doing it ... just not true (sic)"
In December, Madonna revealed she was ready to make a comeback with some music she can "dance" to and was looking for the "sickest" people to work with.
She said: "It's official! I need to move. I need to sweat. I need to make new music! Music I can dance to.
"I'm on the lookout for the maddest, sickest, most bad a*s people to collaborate with. I'm just saying."Posted on 9 Feb 2011 16:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News
