A man has been arrested after he broke into the Montreal home of Canadian singer Celine Dion and did the strangest thing ever – he looted the fridge and then decided to pour himself a bath. Luckily the star and her family were not home at the time of the incident and the man was nabbed by police officers after a hi-tech alarm system silently alerted local police authorities. Franco Di Genova, spokesman for the local police force, said Daniel Bedard was just about to step into the bath when they arrived backed up with a canine unit. Mr Genova told reporters: "He opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish bath [and] he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the fridge." He went on to explain that upon the police's arrival, the suspect started to descend the staircase and even had the cheek to ask what the officers were doing at Dion's home. "So the officers replied: 'What are you doing here?' and they proceeded to put him under arrest," said Mr Genova. Dion is currently a resident singer at The Colosseum in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Sun described one of her shows as: "A magnificent masterpiece. Celine has singlehandedly redefined class and elegance in onstage performances. "Her voice is sent from the angels."
