Many people 'wish they had learned to play the piano'
A large number of people regret never having learned to play the piano when they were younger, new research has suggested.
According to a study conducted by Casio Music, 68 per cent of the people they questioned who had never had a go on the musical instrument said they wish they could have done so, reports MI-Pro.
Myleene Klass, who is the face of Casio's Pianos for Schools initiative, said that the company's scheme ? which is to provide 50 pianos to educational establishments around the UK ? can help to give children the chance to learn the instrument.
"Schemes like this can give children ? the opportunity to play and this can only enhance their all-round learning experience," she stated.
Earlier this year, Klass said she had become involved with the project as she believes it is highly important to encourage music in schools and give children access to the tools they need to do so.
