Megadeth guitarist 'delighted to be touring again'
Megadeth guitar player and frontman Dave Mustaine has revealed he is happy to be back touring again.
His band appeared as the support act for Judas Priest and Testament at a show in Dublin this week, which marked the start of a six-week run of dates across Europe, including shows in Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Nottingham, Cardiff and London.
"Last night was awesome to be playing again," he remarked. "We had a good performance and had a great time."
He claimed there were some problems with feedback during the show and that it overran a little bit, but he felt the band did the "right thing" in playing as much as possible while still honouring "the legendary" Judas Priest.
Mustaine, who has his own signature Jackson electric guitar, will continue to support Judas Priest throughout February and March, with the show series scheduled to end officially in Amsterdam on March 23rd.
