Megadeth's David Ellefson returns to Hartke Amps
Hartke have announced the return of legendary bassist David Ellefson to their family of artists.
Ellefson was the founding member and bassist for thrash-metal quartet, Megadeth.
After rejoining Megadeth in February this year, Ellefson sought out Hartke to help him recreate his Megadeth sound.
This exciting new partnership is now in place and that same great bass amp sound can be heard on tour.
"For me, Hartke is 'the sound' of thrash metal bass," says Ellefson.
"Their HyDrive bass cabinets are better than ever and, as a result, so am I" he added.
Megadeth recently finished-up 'The Big Four' tour in Europe alongside Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax, playing to a minimum of 80,000 people a night.
The band is currently on the 'American Carnage' tour with Slayer, Anthrax and Testament, during which Ellefson will be appearing at a series of in-store clinics.Posted on 1 Oct 2010 11:22 to category : Band / Celebrity News
