Meinl launches new bongo range
The Radial Ply Construction approach has been developed from when putting together drum-set shells, and this latest product features five wooden layers which create strong but lightweight bongo shells.
MI Pro reported that the instruments also have an enhanced resonance and will be ideal for both beginners and professionals when picking these popular percussion sets.
Meinl has used its patented Free Ride system within the Radial Ply Construction Bongos which means that they are joined without any holes being drilled in the shells and will give players a traditional sound.
They are currently available in a range of colours including black maple burst, bubinga, cherry, desert burl and ebony black. They come in a size of 6 3/4" Macho and 8" Hembra with five-layer plywood construction.
Kejam also recently released a new percussion range with the introduction of cajons, djembes and bongos to add to its current offerings.
