Metallica reveal DVD tracklisting
The release was filmed at Quebec City in late 2009 on the band's Death Magnetic tour. Fans were asked to vote for tracks they would like to see in the setlist and these songs have been captured on the live DVD.
While the band would not give away too much in terms of a release date, they revealed that favourites such as 'Enter Sandman', 'Seek & Destroy' and 'Nothing Else Matters' would be among the set along with a few lesser known classics.
In a post on their website, Metallica said: "There are still some 'i's' being dotted and 't's' crossed, so we can't give you a name or fancy logo just yet, but we're pretty excited that for the first time we get to hold all the reins on a release from start to finish."
The metal legends released their latest record Death Magnetic in 2008 which was then followed with a world tour lasting over two years, which was one of the highest grossing concerts ever, bringing in over $200 million (£124.9 million).
