Michael Jackson items sold at auction
The carved bed and the patterned pyjamas were used by Jackson when he stayed at Coolatore House in County Westmeanth, five years ago, the BBC reported.
At the time of the stay in Ireland, the late pop star had been recording music at Grouse Lodge studios.
Damien Matthews, the auctioneer who handled the sale, said: "When he was leaving, he left his hat and his pyjamas as a gift.
"He told the owners of the house that he had had a marvellous time and that Coolatore was the only place where they had ever felt like a real family."
Dr Conrad Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter earlier this week.
A unanimous jury decided that the actions of Dr Murray, who gave Jackson an overdose of the sedative propofol, had contributed to the singer's death.
Jackson, known as the King of Pop, is one the biggest selling artists of all time. His seminal album Thriller has shifted 110 million copies worldwide.
