The end of an era for Moog
The Little Phatty was Moog's first synthesizer to be launched after the death of Moog founder, Dr Bob Moog. It will continue to be available whilst stocks last.

Created by Cyril Lance, Moog's Chief Engineer, as a testiment to Dr Moog, the Little Phatty has been produced for seven years, in incarnations such as The Tribute, Stage I and Stage II. It's one of the most popular analog synths in history, heard on countless records by artists such as Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age and No Doubt.

"We faced the immense challenge of creating a new synth that would embody the values that we all treasured in Bob", said Lance. The Little Phatty "was founded on his continually forward-looking view of synthesis."

Moog have produced a touching mini documentary marking the end of the Little Phatty era, Moog Lives. Play On: The Making of the Little Phatty, which you can watch below.
