Moog Slim Phatty synth 'designed for the travelling musician'
The Moog synthesizer features a similar sound as its predecessor the Little Phatty but unlike the older device, the latest machine comes in rack mountable form, reports MI-Pro.
The Slim Phatty features an external audio input, two solid oscillators, an arpeggiator and CV inputs for pitch, filter, volume and keyboard gate.
It also comes with a state-of-the-art sound bank and a universal internal power supply, and can be played from the front panel with any MIDI controller.
Rack ears and a wood casing are available as optional extras, while the simple and intuitive user interface comes as standard.
An envelope generator section provides two ADSR envelopes, while the modulation section contains a four-waveform LFO and a modulation bus with eight possible sources and four possible destinations.
The Slim Phatty is the smallest and lightest Moog synthesizer yet and only takes up three spaces when mounted on a rack.
