Moog Werkstatt Analog Synth Gets Very Limited Release
The Moogfest workshops were both three hours long, and synth enthusiasts got the chance to create a new patchable synth with Moog DNA, the Werkstatt, German for 'workshop'.
The Moog synth legacy began with self-assembly kits, so it fits in well that the Werkstatt has been introduced as a build-your-own synth. There were just over 100 made for the festival and speculation was rife as to whether they'd be released to the public.
Moog have now revealed that the Werkstatt-01 Moogfest 2014 Kit will be available to buy, although with very limited stock numbers at the moment. Keep checking back to see if it will be available from Gear4music.
