Muse and Foo Fighters sign electric guitars for auction
Muse and Foo Fighters have helped out with a special auction by signing two electric guitars that are up for grabs.
Money is being raised by a specially-set up foundation to help the family of Sub Pop record label executive Andy Kotowicz, following his death in a car accident at the age of 37.
Among the items being sold are a signature Joe Strummer Fender Telecaster signed by the Foo Fighters, an electric guitar autographed by the members of Muse and a Yamaha acoustic guitar that has the signatures of James Blunt and Cee-Lo Green on it.
The online auction got underway on Monday (November 22nd 2010) and is open for bids until December 14th.
"A loved and respected member of the Seattle arts community, Andy's sudden loss has reverberated throughout the independent music scene and impacted all who knew him," said a statement from the foundation.
