Musician devastated by guitar theft
A singer-songwriter has had two electric guitars worth more than £3,000 stolen from outside his front door.
Martin Pocock of Barton, Oxfordshire left the instruments unattended for about 60 seconds when he was in the process of moving items into his flat from his garage.
However, a thief was able to make off with the electric guitars within this time and Mr Pocock is now appealing for information.
"They have got real sentimental value," he told the Oxford Mail.
"I have been a bit shell-shocked about it."
Mr Pocock added that the thief does not realise how much an instrument means to a musician.
The incident is a further reminder to electric guitar players to safeguard their equipment as much as possible.Posted on 14 Dec 2009 18:00 to category : Instruments News
