Musikmesse 2011: Gibson & Epiphone Reveal New Electric Guitars
World renowned guitar manufacturer Gibson have launched a wave of new products at this years Musikmesse including a new Nashville Flood Anniversary Les Paul Studio available in Blue & Green, Alex Lifeson Signature Les Paul Custom, Marc Bolan Signature Les Paul Custom, Acoustic Jackson Browne Model as well as showcasing the long awaited and revolutionary Firebird X.
Epiphone have also released a new '1966' Worn Wilshire with Tremotone and Nighthawk Custom Reissue giving guitarist plenty to talk about at the show.
People at Musikmesse were some of the first lucky viewers to catch a glimpse of the new Alex Lifeson Les Paul Axcess, commemorating the work of the legendary Rush guitarist.
Redefining the boundaries of music the new guitar carries the classic Gibson tone, along with exceptional levels of sonic and performance versatility.
Also new at the show is an iconic guitar of a true legend, the Marc Bolan Signature Les Paul.
With only 100 aged and 350 'VOS' finished versions of the guitar being made world wide, Musikmesse might be the only chance to see this special guitar.
Another Gibson signature guitar being released is the Jackson Brown acoustic guitar, handmade in Gibson's Montana Acoustic Master shop and featuring an extra deep body depth, red spruce top, eco friendly English Walnut and side, 12th fret to body construction and a choice of an innovative pickup system.
Taking centre stage at Gibson at this years Musikmesse though will be the revolutionary Firebird X.
One of the most technologically advanced guitars in the world, Firebird X is expected to offer unbelievable performance and creative highs and is due for release very soon along with the Nashville flood anniversary les paul studio available in dazzling blue and green finishes.
Epiphone have also revealed two new electric guitars at this years Musikmesse including the Nighthawk cutom reissue featuring humbucker, single coil and mini humbucker pickups for a wide selection of sonic tones.
Another addition to the Epiphone line up is the '1966' Worn Wilshire with Tremote, featuring a welcomed addition of a Tremoto vibrato, a re-deigned with a spring loaded arm.
