Musikmesse 2011: Roland Announce BA-55 Portable PA System
Ideal for any small event requiring a boost in audio, the BA-55 Portable PA System has just be released by Roland.
Shipping with a wireless mic, the BA-55 is perfect for music performances, school presentations, meeting and special events.
With a three channel configuration, one channel features a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver for use with a wireless microphone, the second can accept any Roland wireless mic or a standard wired mic, while the third includes RCA, 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch stereo inputs for audio, instrument or other applications.
Global tone controls all quick sound adjustments, with an echo effects switched on from the wireless mic.
Powered by a high-spec digital stereo amplifier, two custom designed 6.5 inch speakers and an internal accelerometer switch to determine the orientation, the BA-55 is the portable solution to beat.
When the amp is positioned upright (with the two speakers in a vertical position), sound is output in mono to maximise the distance of sound projection; when the amp is positioned on its side (with the speakers in a horizontal position), sound is output in stereo to enhance musical performances.
The BA-55 has an Intelligent Anti-Feeback function, automatically seeking out feedback problems and removing them before they are produced.
This means performers and speakers can use the BA-55 to its full potential to reproduce their performance clearly.
A line output means the BA-55 is ideal for connecting to a larger system, allowing users to connect it to recording devices.Posted on 6 Apr 2011 09:03 to category : Instruments News
