Musikmesse 2011: Roland Jupiter 80 Released - a Legendary Synthesizer Returns
Roland have announced the return of the revolutionary Jupiter synths, with the release of the Jupiter-80.
The Jupiter-8, released in 1981, was created to be the most expressive synth possible.
Based on the leading technology available at the time, the synth has been famed for it's unique character and rich sound.
The new Jupiter 80 promises to mark the same leap in sound and feel that the original Jupiter 8 provided.
Aiming to be the most realistic and authentically expressive electronic instrument on the market, Roland are hoping this will cause the same furore that happened 30 years ago.
The Jupiter 80 pays homage to the original instrument, with a sleak 76 key industrial design on top of the most advanced analogue modelling digital synthesis and Roland's patented SuperNATURAL expressiveness.
On board is a full suite of SuperNATURAL sounds, including piano, brass, strings and guitar - the most realistic acoustic instruments yet seen on a keyboard.
The sound engine dynamically analyses the player's performance to provide a genuinely authentic performance, without affecting the player's technique.
With the combination of the superb quality sounds and advanced behavioural modelling, the Jupiter 80 is set to dominate the love performance and studio recording worlds.Posted on 6 Apr 2011 09:00 to category : Instruments News
