Musikmesse 2011: Roland Release Quad-Capture Audio Interface
Revered for their high quality conversion, Roland have announced the Quad Capture 4 in / 4 out USB 2.0 audio interface.
Designed for professional standard recording on the go or at home, two premium microphone preamps and ultra latency operation mean this is an interface to beat.
With rates at 24-bit / 192 kHz, digital IO and MIDI, all provided by on board USB power, the Quad Capture has all the features a project studio could need.
Two digitally controlled VS Preamps provide the sound quality of a much more expensive interface and are based on the acclaimed V-Studio 700 and M-400 V-Mixer.
Premium components provide clean, transparent audio conversion, enhanced by selectable low-cut filters, phase inverters and digital compression - accessible through an easy to use software panel.
Connectivity is flexible, accommodating either XLR or 1/4 inch jacks with a selectable Hi-Z instrument input on channel one.
Extra connections include two 1/4 inch TRS output jacks, coaxial digital audio I/O, MIDI I/O, and a headphone jack.
AUTO-SENS functionality provides simple button press settings on the input level of the preamps, providing the optimum level on any source.
Direct Monitoring with a front panel balance knob allows for monitoring of input sources while overdubbing.
The VS Streaming driver provides unprecedented stability and low-latency performance, supported in all popular DAW platforms and compatible with Windows 7 and Mac OSX 10.6.Posted on 6 Apr 2011 09:00 to category : Instruments News
