New From Nektar at Musikmesse 2013
It's been widely reported that Nektar will announce their Impact LX49, the first in a new range of Nektar USB controller keyboards, aimed at users looking for an affordable, yet fully featured MIDI Controller Keyboard at this year's Musikmesse Show in Frankfurt.

Offering intelligent mapping for major DAWs, the Impact LX49 hopes to make it easy for musicians and producers to get up and running without having to worry about MIDI assignments to get started.

Based on the technology developed for the acclaimed Nektar Panorama series, Nektar's Impact LX49 promises to ship pre-mapped and configured. Just like it's famous bigger brothers the Panorama P4 and the Panorama P6, which feature multiple modes for main control navigation.

The Impact LX49 will allow musicians to switch between Mixer, Instrument and Preset modes. Presets include 5 memory locations for users to store their own setups. Navigation options include track change, patch change and a Plug-in button that opens or closes the currently controlled plug-in window on the computer display.

Along with 8 velocity sensitive pads that can be used for MIDI and Four pad memory locations that store pad settings for later use. The Nektar Impact LX49 promises to be the ideal solution for a more affordable and feature packed MIDI controller keyboard.
