Musikmesse 2014: Nord Lead A1R Rack Mountable Synth Launched
The Nord Lead A1R combines the next-generation analogue modelling engine with a streamlined interface.
Features include a 24-voice polyphonic and four part multi-timbral, making the Lead A1R a flexible choice for stage or studio, delivering a rich and versatile pallete of sounds.
There's a new oscillator section, allowing patches to be created and edited faster than your expect for a synthesizer this complex. 47 different waveforms can be created with the new waveform engine.
The effects section introduces two new impressive vintage Chorus and Ensemble models, with Delay, Reverb, Drive, Phaser and Flanger completing the effects line-up.
Additional functions include the new 'Like' function, allowing you to scroll between 'Liked' patches and choose your favourite to save to memory, and the Mutator, creating a variation of an existing patch by adjusting certain parameters by set rules.
