Musikmesse 2016: Yamaha Reveal Revolutionary TransAcoustic Guitars

Yamaha have revolutionized the way we play acoustic guitars, by adding built-in effects that you can hear without amplification.

The brand new Yamaha LL-TA Dreadnought and LS-TA Concert models feature Solid Engelmann Spruce tops with Solid Rosewood backs and sides, Ebony fingerboards and gold hardware.

An actuator is fitted inside each guitar, and vibrates in response to string vibrations - these vibrations are then carried by the body of the guitar and the air inside and out, generating reverb and chorus sounds without the need for external effects.

Named 'The Acoustic Guitar (R)Evolution' these guitars recreate the incredible experience of playing in a rich, live room without needing any external amplification or effects – just the guitar itself.

Both models are available in Vintage Tint and Brown Sunburst.
