My Chemical Romance reveal 'new' material
The New Jersey quintet have posted Boy Division and Tomorrow's Money, which were recorded in 2009 prior to the release of their fourth album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, online.
The tracks are part of a series of songs that will be released from the scrapped record, which will be posted online over the course of the coming months and will give fans an insight of what could have been if the band had not decided to move in a different direction.
Both tracks are in keeping with the band's progression away from 2006's Black Parade; Boy Division is a more fast and furious punk record, while Tomorrow's Money could have easily made its way onto Danger Days.
Guitarist Frank Iero spoke of the forgotten songs and said: "Beginning in October we will be releasing two songs a month for five months. Ten songs in total from the Conventional Weapons sessions we did back in 2009. We hope you enjoy these time capsules, and that they may shed a little more light on how and where Danger Days came from."
