NAMM 2011: Fender Announces Expansion to Mustang Amp Range
Highly regarded guitar and amp manufacturer Fender have released details of more Mustang amps to be showcased at NAMM 2011.
Alongside the current Mustang I, Fender will exhibit the Mustang II, Mustang III and Mustang IV combos as well as the Mustang V amp and head at the convention in Anaheim, USA.
The Mustang range is aimed at guitarists from beginners to what Fender describes as 'weekend warriors' - high performance, easy to use guitar amps at unbelievable prices.
The loud, lightweight power amp makes the Mustang range highly portable whatever size you go for.
The evocative Fender styling means that you can own a part of the company's classic look, as well as the unmatchable sound.
The Mustang II is a 40 watt closed back combo amp with a 12 inch Special Design speaker, coming with 24 presets made up of 8 amp models and 24 effects.
The Mustang III is a 100-watt open back combo with a 12" Celestion speaker that sounds great and goes insanely loud.
With 100 amp presets from 12 different amp models, alongside 37 effects in four different categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb) the Mustang III pushes the envelope of what guitarists on a budget should expect.
The Mustang IV is a 150-watt open back combo with two 12" Celestion speakers meaning it can be used for serious jamming and larger gigs.
Like the Mustang III, the Mustang IV has 100 amp presets from 12 different amp models, alongside 37 effects in four different categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb).
Completing the line-up is the Mustang V head and Mustang V cabinet - ideal for really big gigs.
The head is a 150 watt beast, for some serious performance, complimented by 100 amp presets from 12 different amp models, alongside 37 effects in four different categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb).
With USB connectivity all the amps can have their amp models upgraded and changed at will.Posted on 5 Jan 2011 14:36 to category : Instruments News
