NAMM 2011: Korg announce microPIANO Digital Piano
In the tradition of Korg's micro series, the microPIANO digital piano is a compact and conveniently sized digital piano, designed like a grand piano with opening lid!
The microPIANO features Korg's expressive 61-key Natural Touch mini-keyboard, carefully designed to provide true playability and realistic piano feel.
The bold, smooth grand piano sound uses the same stereo samples as Korg's flagship digital pianos, generating full-bodied tones with depth and character.
Available in three finishes; chic Black, vivid Red or a mirror-finish White, the microPIANO is charming in its looks as well as its sound.
microPIANO comes equipped with 61 vibrant and authentic sounds. Keyboard sounds go beyond the traditional pianos to include electric pianos, harpsichords, accordion, celeste, organs, clavs, toy pianos, and more!
Of these 61 sounds, 25 are "Short Phrase Sounds" that can automatically generate phrases simply by holding down a key.
Using these Short Phrase Sounds, even the novice player can easily create a satisfying performance.
The microPIANO also contains 40 demonstration songs featuring mainly classical compositions which can be played back as an entertainment piece.
The compact and lightweight body, together with built-in speakers and the option of battery power, means that the microPIANO can be enjoyed any time, any place.
