NAMM 2011: Kurzweil Announce New Stage Pianos
Kurzweil has released details of two new stage pianos, the SP4-7 & SP4-8 at this years NAMM.
Included in the SP4-7 stage pianos are some of their best pianos, string sections, vintage keys, KB3 organ emulations, orchestral sounds, guitars, drums, winds and Take 6 vocals.
All the sound generating and effects processing power of our latest custom hardware is in built, paired with a simple, elegant interface that will invite and inspire musicians from the moment they turn it on.
Its sleek design makes it easy to carry and takes up minimal space on stage or in the studio, weighing in at a mere 24 lbs.
Its 76 semi-weighted keys are fast and responsive, using new touch-response software to ensure that the SP4-7 feels more like a musical instrument, not a piece of technology.
SP4-7 includes dedicated buttons for one-touch splitting and layering, and Setup Mode provides 4 discreet zones, each with its own extensive MIDI control and it has a USB port which can be used for MIDI, storing/saving sounds and setups and for OS updates.
